Start­ing with vali­da­ti­on of basic data and opti­mi­sa­ti­on of vehic­le power­trains, we use our clima­te chas­sis dynos also for certi­fi­ca­ti­on and CoP.

APL makes use of state-of-the-art chas­sis dyna­mo­me­ter test­ing faci­li­ties in both Land­au and Bietig­heim-Bissin­gen for various test­ing acti­vi­ties in the passen­ger car and light-duty segments. Certi­fi­ca­ti­on accor­ding to ISO 9001 and accre­di­ta­ti­on by DAkkS accor­ding to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 guaran­tee stable proces­ses and high-quali­ty data.

In addi­ti­on to the emis­si­ons cycles and rele­vant boun­da­ry condi­ti­ons as prescri­bed by legis­la­ti­on we have the possi­bi­li­ty to perform custo­mer-speci­fic driving campaigns (e.g. simu­la­ted RDE-cycles, R2R, etc.) on the high perfor­mance chas­sis dynos. A precise condi­tio­ning (right down to ‑35°C) of not only the test vehic­le but also the enti­re test stand guaran­tees you as our custo­mer a relia­ble trans­la­ti­on of results to reality.

Further­mo­re our chas­sis dyna­mo­me­ters are all equip­ped with exten­si­ve exhaust emis­si­ons analy­sers which allow not only a deter­mi­na­ti­on of emis­si­ons compon­ents in a diluted state, but also in the raw emis­si­ons at any point in the exhaust system.
