// Fuel Cell Powertrains

As part of the rapidly increasing decarbonization of drive technology, the fuel cell as an emission-free energy converter is an integral part of APL’s service portfolio. The further expansion of the hydrogen and fuel cell test field up to 300 kW is running at full speed. The first expansion phase with 6 short stack test benches is already firmly in customer hands. In the further course of the year, 4 system test benches up to 300 kW and a freely scalable trailer-based hydrogen supply designed for 24/7 continuous operation will follow. On behalf of our customers from the automotive and aviation industries, we are investigating key issues relating to the operating behavior and service life as well as optimization and cost reduction potential of fuel cells.
